Terms of Service

Last updated 4 November 2026 · Version 2026-11-04

About these terms

These terms are a contract between you and [Legal entity name], company number [Company registration number], [Registered address], [Country of establishment] ("Detraly", "we"). They apply to the Detraly website, dashboard, API and plugin (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle data.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 to create an account. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you can bind it to these terms.

Accounts

  • You sign in with Discord or Google. Keep that account secure; you are responsible for what happens under your Detraly account.
  • Keep your plugin token and link codes private. If one is exposed, link the server again.
  • Give us accurate information and tell us if you think your account has been misused.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • break the law or use the Service to harm others;
  • send data to the Service that you have no right to send;
  • attack, overload or probe the Service, or get around rate limits, authentication or other limits;
  • access another operator's data or servers;
  • copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law says you may;
  • use the Service to build a competing product by scraping or abusing the API.

Operator responsibilities for player data

When your server sends player data to Detraly, you are the controller of that data and we process it on your behalf. You are responsible for:

  • having a lawful basis for collecting it;
  • giving your players your own privacy notice that covers Detraly and what it collects;
  • showing the notice and honouring opt-outs if you turn on location (the plugin supports /detraly optout in game);
  • answering your players' requests about their data, and deleting data when you are required to.

We will help where we can; see our Privacy Policy for what we do with the data.

Plugin licence

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run the Detraly plugin on Minecraft servers you operate, for the purpose of using the Service. You may not sublicense, sell or redistribute it. Third-party components in our software are covered by their own licences, listed on our licences page.

Your content and copyright

You keep your rights in the content you put into the Service, such as server names and any console lines your server sends. You give us a licence to host, store, process and display it only as needed to run the Service for you.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, see our copyright policy.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are not on sale yet. The prices shown on our pricing page are the prices planned for when they are. There is a Free plan.

When paid plans become available:

  • prices are in US dollars and are shown on the pricing page, monthly or yearly;
  • paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, until you cancel;
  • you can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then;
  • you can ask for a refund within 3 days of a purchase, including a renewal charge, as set out in our refund policy;
  • we will tell you before a price change takes effect for you.

Changes to the Service

Detraly is under development. Features, limits and plan contents can change, be added or be removed. The dashboard may show generated preview data until a server is live; preview numbers are not real. Some plan features, such as data-retention days, may not be enforced yet.

Availability

We try to keep the Service running but we do not guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. There is no uptime guarantee. We may take it down for maintenance or because of faults.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your servers, which deletes their player events, console lines and player location data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, put the Service or others at risk, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable we will tell you why.

Minecraft

Detraly is not an official Minecraft product. It is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Operators must follow the Minecraft EULA and Minecraft Usage Guidelines when running their servers.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the Service or its analytics are accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or to zero if you use the free plan.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

Indemnity

You will cover our reasonable losses from claims by third parties (including your players) that arise from your breach of these terms or from your failure to meet your responsibilities as controller of player data, to the extent the law allows.

Your statutory rights

If you use the Service as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects the rights you have by law, including any right to cancel or withdraw that applies where you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by: [Governing law and courts]. This does not remove any protection that the law of your country gives you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

This is version 2026-11-04. If we change the terms in a way that matters, we will update the date and version here and ask you to accept the new version in the dashboard. If you do not accept, you can stop using the Service.
